Camille Rast wins the slalom in Flachau

Camille Rast, the impressive Swiss slalom specialist, won the prestigious night slalom in Flachau and once again proved her top class.

With her victory in Flachau, Rast secured her second slalom triumph of the season and of her career - the first came at the beginning of December in Killington. The success in Flachau not only marks the very first Swiss victory in a slalom on this course, but was also crowned with a double victory.

With her impressive victory in the night slalom in Flachau, Camille Rast has further extended her lead in the overall World Cup. She now leads with 533 points ahead of Sara Hector (507 points) and Federica Brignone (479 points).

In the slalom discipline ranking, Rast is also in the lead with 405 points, followed by Wendy Holdener (345 points) and Zrinka Ljutić (309 points).

This success underlines Rast's outstanding form this season and her ambitions to win both the overall World Cup and the slalom classification.
