Sybille Blanjean from Verbier expands El Tony Mate the Freeski Team
The Freeride World Tour was in its infancy when Sybille was born in 1999. Growing up in Verbier, her parents instilled in her a love for the mountains at a young age.
"At the age of 12, I had to make a choice". She had the opportunity to continue at Ski Valais, but at the same time a freeride structure opened up in Verbier. Her decision to focus on freeride paid off.
Last winter, she achieved several podium finishes, including a second place in Engadine and a third place at Nendaz Freeride. She even took the home win at Extreme-Verbier's first participation in the winter of 2022!
