First Crankworx podium for Lucas Huppert

Lucas Huppert can celebrate his first Crankworx podium.

"It's really incredible, it's my first Crankworx podium," beamed Huppi after his second run of the contest, which was actually more of a Victory Lab as he rode down the course with Godziek.

"I've dreamed of this my whole life and I don't have words, it's crazy. Especially last year I had a hard time here, and now to finish second, I can't believe it. The level was insane. I had a super good run, a little loose at times, but I have no words, I'm thrilled!"

Huppi was visibly motivated this week, and the motivation will continue at Red Bull Joyride.

"Full focus on Joyride, that's for sure," Huppi said when asked about his plans for the rest of the 2022 FMB World Tour. "It's the event where slopestyle started and to have a podium again at Joyride would be the biggest dream ever. But yeah, I'm fully focused on it, resting, preparing and then going full throttle."
