Alessio Tonoli takes the Whip Off World Champion title in Whistler

As the sun disappeared behind the mountains of Whistler, the Boneyard and Skier's Plaza were filled with around 8,000 spectators - ready for one of the most legendary highlights of the Crankworx Festival: the Official Whip-Off World Championships presented by POC.

Over 110 riders lined up at the start, with the aim of putting their bikes as sideways as possible and sending the crowd wild. And that's exactly what El Tony Mate team rider Alessio Tonoli did .

The atmosphere? Pure Crankworx vibes. The fans cheered, every whip was celebrated.
In the end it was clear: Alessio is the new Whip Off World Champion - and brings the title home.
