El Tony Mate launches event series Selected Sessions with DJ Tennis in Zurich
An intimate setting, a surprising location - and a DJ who is usually only found on the really big stages. With the Selected S essions El Tony Mate a new cultural exclamation mark in the electronic music scene.
To kick off the event series, the Mexican restaurant La Taqueria in Zurich was transformed into perhaps the most exclusive club in the city. No line-up, no big fanfare - but a surprising pop-up gig by DJ Tennis, who normally plays in front of thousands at festivals such as DC10 in Ibiza. This time: in front of a few dozen people, live and right in the heart of Zurich.
The set was streamed via the leading platform Beatport, allowing not only the guests on site but also fans worldwide to be part of this unique moment:
